Aikerim Motukeeva is an Instructor at the American University of Central Asia. She joined AUCA in 2015 as a part-time faculty teaching Political Economy of Energy Resources. Since 2016, she works as an AUCA full-time faculty with an area of interests spanning from Energy Resource Management to Industrial and Organizational Behavior and Management.

Aikerim received her MA degree in Economic Governance and Development from the Academy of Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe in 2015, when she was awarded the one-time scholarship for highest GPA. She wrote her thesis on the subject of exchange rate pass-through into domestic prices in Kazakhstan, for which she was awarded a stipend for best thesis work in the program.

In 2012, Aikerim received her BA degree in International Relations from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), where she graduated at the top 5% of the program, receiving a diploma with distinction. She majored in European Studies and Economic Integrations.

Before coming to AUCA, Aikerim worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and an investment bank. At AUCA, she teaches Management and Organizational Behavior I and II, Energy Resource Management, Human Resource Management, Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
